Discharging Day of a patient with diffuse atalectasis; Bazarganan Hospital

Elahe, a kind smart lady of 40 yrs who was admitted at Bazarganan Hospital, Tehran, in July, 5th, 2017 at last was discharged home in Oct, 8th, 2017. she was suffering from respiratory insufficiency with diffuse atalectasis of both lungs with just a minute remained lung area for exchanging gases with blood. Her discharging with reasonably good general condition including her respiratory capability was not possible but just for the breathtaking admirable attempts my hardworking ICU team did; I am very proud of all of them and it is an honor to work with them.

Elahe is now at home and lives well with the aid of a CPAP device used with a nose mask for 5 to 10 hours a day.
